When a supply line, water heater, or appliance lets go, the first priority is getting the standing water out. The longer it sits, the further it wicks into flooring, baseboards, and wall cavities. Wit Restoration removes the water and sets up the drying that follows.
We start by confirming the source is under control, then inspect to see how far the water has traveled. Extraction handles what is standing and saturated; assemblies like subfloor, drywall, and insulation often hold water you cannot see and need drying or, in some cases, removal.
Extraction is the first step, not the whole job. We are honest about what is recoverable: some soaked materials dry out fine, others are past saving, and we tell you which is which based on what we measure. We do not perform the plumbing repair itself, and we do not promise that every wet material can be brought back.
How it works
Our process
Simple, careful, and clear from start to finish.
- 01
Confirm source control
We make sure the leak is shut off or the plumber has the source handled before we start removing water.
- 02
Inspect & access
We check how far the water reached and get access to the wet areas, including under and behind finishes where needed.
- 03
Extract
Standing and absorbed water is pulled out with the right equipment for the surface and the amount of water.
- 04
Set up drying
We move straight into structural drying so the materials that held water finish drying properly.
